On July 8, CECEP Deputy CEO Li Jie met with Egawa Takeshi, director and deputy CEO of Mitsubishi Electric (China) Co., Ltd., and his entourage. The two sides discussed the application of Mitsubishi electric products in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection, and both expressed a willingness to cooperate.

From May 19 to 23, a seven-member delegation of CECEP outside directors including Zhang Xiaolu, Ju Zhanghua, Jia Changbin, Li Xinya and Li Wenzhong visited King Diamond company in Spain. After field investigation of the company’s project for arsenic removal from drinking water in Villemiel, a satellite town of Madrid, and an urban sewage treatment plant in suburban Barcelona, delegation members gained an understanding of the characteristics and advantages of the water processing technology to be imported from King Diamond.

On April 28, the Pakistan China Trade and Investment Forum & Pakistani Prime Minister Luncheon was held in Beijing, attended by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, Zhang Chunxian, vice chairman of the National People’s Congress Standing Committee, and Sha Zukang, former UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs and president of the China-Pakistan Friendship Association. Zheng Zhaohui, chief economist of CECEP and chairman of China National Environmental Protection Group (CNEP), was invited to spoke at the forum.

From April 15 to 17, CECEP Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd. attended the 20th IE Expo China co-hosted by the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, China Environment Chamber of Commerce, China Resource Recycling Association and Messe Muenchen GmbH.

On March 27, China Geo-Engineering Corporation (CGC) Middle East Branch signed a contract with the Royal Commission at Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, on connection services for public facilities of JEC-F-7002 community.
