The year 2018 marks CECEP’s “Year of Technological Innovation.” The company has accordingly formulated Action Plan for Technological Innovation (2018), and the first group of 18 key innovation projects have been kicked off. So far, CECEP has set up 89 research and development institutes at various levels, including four national R&D institutes, 29 provincial- and ministerial-level institutes and one overseas R&D institute, and received 214 scientific research awards at and above the provincial and ministerial level, including a First Prize of State Technological Invention Award (2015), a Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award (2016) and a Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award (2017), alongside 2,183 authorized patents and 466 authorized intention patents. In addition, it has played a lead role in 200 scientific research projects at and above the provincial and ministerial level, and presided over and participated in the formulation of 269 national and industry standards.

Recently, the New Era (Xi’an) Design Engineering Co., Ltd., the Xi’an Si Fang Construction Supervision Co., Ltd., and the Xianyang Company under China Qiyuan Engineering Corporation respectively passed the 2020 High-tech Enterprise Identification and received the National High-tech Enterprise Certificate jointly issued by Shaanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Shaanxi Provincial Department of Finance, and Shaanxi Provincial Tax Service under the State Taxation Administration.

On January 25, China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment unveiled the 2020 National Directory of Advanced Pollution Control Technologies (fields of solid waste and soil pollution control). Three technologies developed by China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) were included: the “waste circuit board oxygen-enriched top-blown bath smelting technology” developed by CECEP Engineering Technology Research Institute, the “underground water extraction-injection dual treatment technology for organic contaminated sites”

Recently, the “NB/T10590-2021 Technical Specifications for Lightning Protection Transformation of Multi-lightning Wind Farm Collector Lines” compiled by CECEP Wind Power (Zhangbei) Co., Ltd. was awarded Chinese energy industry standard certification, which was announced in 2021 Document No.1 by the National Energy Administration.

At the recent 10th China Energy Enterprise Informatization Conference held by China Information Industry Association in Beijing, CECEP Solar Energy Technology (Zhenjiang) Co., Ltd. won a 2020 China Energy Enterprise Informatization Management and Innovation Award.
